Mantis Hands, a Taiwanese-American producer based in NYC, weaves together a variety of genres, ranging from classical to bedroom-techno. Drawing inspiration from different moments in the past and future, Mantis Hands incorporates samples, synthetic sounds, and traditional instruments to sculpt a distinctive world. Balancing the duality of energies of NYC nightlife and the quiet of everyday life, the 8 songs from the new album, “I’m So”, reflect both emotional depth and the technical steps within the production.
